In the process of photogrammetry, the target rod provides the standard size proportion for the project, so the target rod must be specified in each photogrammetry calculation process.
Usually, two targets are used in a photogrammetric project. After the calculation, the calculation accuracy of the photogrammetric project can be checked by checking the deviation between the two targets. Generally speaking, the target rod can be placed at will, but it must be ensured that the marker points on the target rod can be reconstructed in the calculation process. The length of the target rod should be basically consistent with the length of the measured object. For particularly large objects, try to use a longer target rod.
